Detectives of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab) of Ukraine in the Kiev region exposed a large -scale scheme of illegal production and sale of coffee under the guise of products of world brands. About it reports the official website of the department.
The suspicion was notified to the organizer of the criminal scheme and five his accomplices.
According to the investigation, the attackers did not have any permits, licenses or agreements for the use of well -known brands. Despite this, they organized large -scale production of counterfeit coffee products in storage facilities in the territory of Kyiv region.
The forgery was packed and sold both wholesale and retail-through online stores, outlets and markets. All this happened under the guise of original products of world brands.
The investigation found that the participants of the scheme managed to legalize more than 100 million UAH of income derived from unlawful activity. During the searches, law enforcement officers seized equipment for the manufacture, processing and packing of coffee, documentation, rough records and other evidence.
11 elite cars were also seized, including Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes-Benz S 65, Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300 S, Chevrolet Corvette and others. This indicates the significant profits that the participants of the scheme received when trading.
The pre -trial investigation is ongoing. In the case of guilt, the persons involved in serious punishment for the illegal use of trademarks, falsification of products and money laundering.
