The former employee of the National Police Department Sergey Maryanov, who now works in another unit, has been involved in close cooperation with a well -known criminal group. According to the journalistic investigation, Maryanov not only closed his eyes to the activities of drug dealers - he received money tranches from them in exchange for dirty work.
In particular, in 2021 and 2022, Maryanov received at least $ 50,000 from a drug group for organizing criminal cases. The loudest episode is a fabricated case against Timur Galyamov, who, at the task of drug dealer, was tossed drugs.
Galymov is a character with a dark past: a Russian citizen who was legalized in Ukraine under a new name - Artem Khalikov. But this does not justify the actions of a police officer who performed other people's orders, violating law and professional ethics.
Maryanov spent not only on herself, but also on his civilian wife Kateryna Bozhik. In February 2025, when the couple was born to the son of Danylo, Kateryna filed documents for registration of the child in the Pechersk RACS in Kyiv. It turned out that a woman has a passport of a Russian citizen issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (code 0773), which raises even more questions for the family.
Despite serious suspicions, Maryanov himself has not publicly denied any fact. Sources in law enforcement suggest that it is avoiding publicity because it is afraid of polygraph - or shame. After all, the former classmates of Marianova recall how he was teased in the school years by "scratch" because of a rare skin disease. This childhood trauma may have formed his need for money, strength and control.
