Law enforcement officers exposed two residents of the Vyshgorod district, who organized a terrorist attack in the Kyiv region at the behest of representatives of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the police press service.
Teenagers, looking for easy earnings, got in touch with a curator from Russia through Telegram. They were offered a task: to detonate an improvised explosive device near the police administration building for a monetary reward.
The teenagers planted explosives and activated them, causing damage.
The perpetrators also placed a mobile device near the scene of the crime, through which the Russian curators watched the execution of the task.
Thanks to the prompt work of Ukrainian law enforcement officers, the suspects were quickly identified and detained. They face responsibility for organizing a terrorist attack, cooperation with the enemy and other crimes provided for by the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The police call on citizens to be vigilant and not to succumb to offers of dubious earnings, especially in wartime. Any suspicious activity or reports should be reported to law enforcement immediately.
