A military car was set on fire in Odesa, two people were suspected of a terrorist act

In Odesa, two persons were suspected of committing a terrorist act, organized by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy. According to the information of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the suspects, while carrying out the tasks of the special services of the Russian Federation, set fire to a military vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one of the districts of the city.

The prosecutor's office claims that the men acted at the behest of the "enemy" with the aim of disrupting public order, intimidating the population and creating a false informational excuse for the media resources of the Russian Federation, which propagate anti-Ukrainian sentiments in the territory of Odesa.

Criminals documented the results of their activities on video, which served as proof of completion of the task for customers. The Russian curator promised them 2,000 US dollars for the destruction of the car.

The suspect was remanded in custody without bail. According to the article, under which they face from 7 to 12 years of imprisonment, the issue of additional qualification of their crimes is currently being considered.
