Ukraine continues to feel the consequences of military actions on the part of Russia, in particular regarding the infrastructure of the energy sector. Recently, it became known that the Burshtyn thermal power station (TES) cannot be restored after the missile attacks of the Russian troops.
This information was confirmed by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk during the broadcast of the "Western Pole" radio station.
"More than 12 rocket attacks were directed at our energy facility. All services worked every time. But for a certain period of time, we have understood that the Burshtyn TPP cannot be restored - it is extremely badly damaged," said the official.
According to her, the issue was addressed to the government, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
"Today, we have an agreement on the allocation of six boiler houses for Burshtyn: four - megawatts each, and two - eight and ten megawatts each. These boiler houses will be able to provide our social facilities and population," said Onyshchuk.
