It is planned to create an interactive map of affordable housing for internally displaced persons in Ukraine. This map will be compiled on the basis of an information database about real estate objects. For this purpose, it is planned to carry out an all-Ukrainian inventory of real estate of all forms of ownership, which can be used for housing by internally displaced persons. The relevant draft law will be introduced to the parliament in the near future.
This was announced by Pavlo Frolov, a member of the Verkhovna Rada's Budget Committee, People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction and Chairman of the Temporary Special Commission for the Protection of the Rights of Internally Displaced Persons, after a meeting with the management of the State Property Fund.
According to his statement, the new draft law envisages an audit and survey of all real estate objects where resettled people can live. The result of this system inventory should be a public interactive map.
"We plan that this information base will be presented in the form of an interactive map. It will be filled with objects based on the results of the inventory and survey. This will allow users to see the location of objects on the map, their condition, as well as the number of people who can live in each of the objects," the parliamentarian explained.
Internally displaced persons will be able to use the interactive map, who will have the opportunity to choose their place of residence, as well as state and local self-government bodies, as well as natural and legal persons who will communicate with international humanitarian and charitable organizations.
"It is planned to introduce such a draft law for consideration by the parliament during the next meeting of the Temporary Special Commission for the Protection of the Rights of Internally Displaced Persons and Other Persons Victims of Russian Aggression," concluded Pavlo Frolov.
