On November 20, 2024, a once-in-two-century event took place: Pluto, the planet that symbolizes transformation and rebirth, entered the constellation of Aquarius. Astrologers believe that this opens a new stage in world history, which will last until 2043.
For the first time since 1778, Pluto, known as the planet of destruction, death and rebirth, will enter the eleventh sign. Pluto was supposed to enter Aquarius on November 19 and will not leave until March 8, 2043.
The displacement of the planet caused a wave of happiness, as lovers of the zodiac signs are sure that the stars have written positive for the next 20 years, the publication indicates.
"The dream event will mark a period of metamorphosis, as astrologers predict that the shift will push people out of their shells and bring an influx of new opportunities and loved ones," the publication notes.
Social media users took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and Reddit to express their joy at the planet's move.
Many have noted that this change is said to bring prosperity and success to most astrological signs.
While many stargazers admitted they felt "scared" by the major astrological event, others admitted they had a "really good feeling" that life would be smooth and flowing from here on out.
Pluto was last in Aquarius from 1778 to 1798. During this time, the world experienced the French, American, Haitian and industrial revolutions. It was also the time of the Age of Enlightenment, which emphasized the importance of science and reason over faith and superstition. This period was known for the many social hierarchies that were destroyed and the sharp resistance to the authorities. This is also a period of rapid development of fantasy: the hot air balloon, sewing machine, smallpox vaccine and parachute were invented, according to the publication.
