Thus, due to the Polish blockade of the Ukrainian border, autogas can become more expensive by 3 hryvnias per liter (its suppliers have to go around the Polish section of the border through Slovakia or Romania), and prices are already rising both on the retail and wholesale markets.
The prices of diesel fuel also crept up – at the largest gas stations in Ukraine, the price of Euro brand fuel rose by 0.2% to 54.56 hryvnias per liter.
Experts note that gasoline prices will also rise in the near future, the projected price increase is 2 hryvnias. The reason is the increase in the price of oil on the world market. "If the situation in the world does not change, the price of a liter of gasoline may increase by two hryvnias in the next two or three weeks. In the last two weeks, there has been a systematic increase in fuel prices in the economy segment networks in the domestic market We buy everything by import, at world prices, and, accordingly, the purchase price has started to rise," says Serhii Kuyun, director of the A-95 consulting company.
However, the situation is complicated not only by the rise in oil prices in the world, but also by the fact that the Russian Armed Forces constantly strike at warehouses and storage places of PMM (for example, at the beginning of February, an attack was made at an oil depot in Kharkiv, where almost 4,000 tons of fuel were stored) . At the same time, problems with shortages/increase in fuel prices will "shoot" already in the spring, when the question of starting the sowing campaign in Ukraine will arise.
