In Ukraine, the future increase in excise duty on fuel will lead to an increase in the price of all categories of fuel by 7-10 hryvnias per liter. And before sowing, it will be a serious blow to farmers (Ukrainian farmers already lack working capital to finance sowing, as well as people due to mass mobilization).
Thus, according to Oleksandr Sirenko, an analyst at the Naftorynok consulting company, gas station chains in the regions continued to raise prices last week. At Shell stations, the price of A-95 gasoline has increased by UAH 0.50/l in some regions, the price of diesel fuel by UAH 0.30-0.50/l.
Previously, experts had already predicted an increase in fuel shortages in Ukraine. The reasons were various: from problems with the blockade of the Ukrainian border by the Poles (fuel suppliers have to go around the Polish section of the border through Slovakia or Romania) and the rise in oil prices on the world market to strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on warehouses and storage places of PMM.
As a result, those who have free funds and opportunities can only be advised to stock up on fuel now.
