The head of the architecture department of one of the settlement councils and her husband was detained in the Kyiv region. According to the investigation, the couple demanded 230 thousand hryvnias for issuing town planning conditions and restrictions.
They were allegedly offered to them by a local resident who planned the construction of the land. According to the documents that allow it, the husband was offered to "agree" - the amount of the question amounted to 230 thousand hryvnias.
The money was handed over in cash. It was during the transfer of the persons that they were detained - under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Both were chosen in the form of detention with the possibility of bail. For the official, the collateral is 2.3 million hryvnias, for her husband - 1.5 million.
The case is investigated under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code - obtaining an undue benefit by an official by prior conspiracy by a group of persons. The sanction of the article - up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property and prohibition of occupying positions.
We will remind, the sphere of urban planning still remains one of the most corrupted at the local level. With the onset of a full -scale war, the number of "schemes" has not decreased - on the contrary, buildings often go away in violation of procedures and under the cover of "military expediency".
