Today the weather in Ukraine will be changeable - the western regions will be covered with rain, sleet and gusty winds, while in other regions no precipitation is expected. However, frost will persist in the eastern part of the country.

On Friday, February 28, bad weather is forecast in Ukraine, particularly in the west of the country. Rain and sleet are expected in the western regions, as well as gusty southeasterly winds, which will add to the unpleasant weather conditions. No precipitation is expected in other regions.
The nighttime air temperature in most territories of Ukraine will range from -2 to -6°C, and in the west it will be around 0°C. The coldest weather is expected in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and Poltava regions, where the nighttime temperature may drop to -10…-15°C.
On the afternoon of February 28, the temperature in Ukraine will vary from 0 to 6°C, in particular, it will be cooler in the west due to precipitation, and in the east the temperature will remain within -3...2°C.
In Kyiv, the temperature at night will be from -2 to -4°C, and during the day it will fluctuate from 2 to 4°C. However, in the afternoon, the wind may increase, the direction of which will change to the southeast. Precipitation is not expected in the capital.
Overall, this day promises to be quite unpleasant for western Ukraine, while in other regions the weather will remain more stable, albeit frosty.
As a reminder, in early March, air quality in Ukraine will significantly deteriorate due to a large-scale wave of pollution. According to forecasts by meteorological services, a so-called "dirty cloud" is approaching the country, which will last for several days and significantly affect the air quality in most regions.
