A significant drop in temperature is expected in Ukraine today. Well-known weather forecaster Natalka Didenko reported that at night the thermometer may drop to -12°C, and during the day the temperature will fluctuate within the range of -1…-6°C.
Didenko noted that even moderate frosts can be dangerous to health, especially for people who spend a long time outdoors or in low temperatures without proper protection. According to her, hypothermia can stop blood circulation and cause serious consequences for the body. She also emphasized that people often underestimate the danger of frosts, joking about minor temperature fluctuations, not realizing that even slight frosts can harm health if precautions are not taken.
"You shouldn't take frosts lightly. Hypothermia and frostbite are possible even at temperatures of -5°C or -10°C if you are outside for a long time without proper clothing. And even if we're not talking about record-breaking frosts, the consequences can be serious," the forecaster warned.
On February 11, frosty weather is expected in Ukraine: at night the temperature may drop to -6 -12°C, during the day it will be from -2 to -6°C. In the south and west of the country, the temperature will warm up to 3°C below zero during the day, and in Transcarpathia the thermometer will rise to +4 +7°C. Snow, according to the weather forecaster, is possible only at the end of the week.
In Kyiv, frosty weather is expected in the morning and evening with temperatures ranging from -7 to -9°C at night and -2 to -4°C during the day. Meteorologists predict that the frosts will last for several days with minor temperature fluctuations.
