The beginning of October will bring real autumn weather to Ukraine: cold air masses and rains will cover almost the entire territory of the country. Thermometers will drop - during the day, +6°…+10° is expected, only in the south and in Transcarpathia will atmospheric indicators be slightly higher. In most regions, the sky will be overcast, precipitation will be prolonged, in places of moderate intensity, while in the north, weaker rains are predicted.
In the capital, weather forecasters are announcing cloudy and humid weather: at night about +4°, during the day up to +9°, rain will pass. In the west of the country, it will be significantly cooler - in Lviv and surrounding settlements at night, approximately +4° is expected, during the day the thermometer will rise to +8…+9° depending on the clarity and there will be no precipitation, as cloudiness and local rains will prevail. In the Carpathians, weather forecasters are warning of wet snow combined with precipitation in the coming days, so motorists should take into account the worsening road conditions.
In the north and center of the country, daytime temperatures will also remain within the range of about +9…+10°, cloudy and rainy; some areas will experience only light light rain, but almost the entire territory will be humid. Eastern regions will meet Wednesday cool and damp: during the day about +8…+10°, precipitation and cloudiness will persist throughout the day. Southern regions are somewhat warmer - in Odessa and on the Black Sea coast, the forecast is about +6…+7° at night, during the day up to +12…+15°, however, rain cannot be avoided there either.
It is separately indicated that Transcarpathia, despite the rains, may be a few degrees warmer - up to +15° during the daytime is expected there. In addition, in large cities, stock up on umbrellas and warmer clothes: the weather is heterogeneous, but the general trend is a significant decrease in temperatures compared to the last warm days.
Meteorologists advise taking into account changing weather conditions when planning trips and clothing for the day, as well as paying attention to drivers and pedestrians: wet roads and low visibility increase the risk of traffic accidents. If there are clarifications from forecasters, the forecast will be updated.
