The daughter of pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of treason, and former TV presenter Oksana Marchenko, Daria, has become a citizen of the Russian Federation.
According to the information received, on October 24, 2025, 21-year-old Daria received a Russian passport at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow. In the document, she is listed under her mother's surname - Marchenko. At the same time, she has Ukrainian citizenship, where her surname is Medvedchuk.
Darya Medvedchuk is the goddaughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Svetlana Medvedeva, the wife of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the publication "Verstka", on February 13, 2026, Darya Marchenko became the CEO of the Russian companies "Almyrida Investments" and "Rad-Ev". The latter company owns Viktor Medvedchuk's villa in occupied Crimea.
Meduza previously reported that Medvedchuk's daughter has been living in Moscow since 2021. That same year, she enrolled in the Bachelor's program at the Higher School of Economics, majoring in Business Management.
In February 2022, Oksana Marchenko crossed the Ukrainian-Belarusian border accompanied by her husband. It was previously reported that Medvedchuk had contacts with special services, and criminal proceedings are ongoing against him in Ukraine.
