Pokrovsk Mayor Ruslan Trebushkin, who has been absent from the city for a long time, has published an electronic declaration. The document shows that in 2024 he received a salary from the Ukrainian budget while abroad.
Residents of Pokrovsk have not seen the mayor for a long time, but he himself appears on social networks. For example, in February, Trebushkin appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky with a demand to “sign peace.” The video was recorded in Russian.
On March 22, the mayor got in touch again – this time from Brussels, near the Ukrainian refugee registration center.
According to official information, Pokrovsky is led by the head of the city military administration, and Trebushkin is “on official leave” until the end of martial law.
According to the declaration, Ruslan Trebushkin received a salary of UAH 170,107 in 2024. Other sources of income are not specified, and his real estate is located either in the occupied territories or in destroyed settlements.
How exactly he left Ukraine and how he lives in Belgium remains a mystery.
Moreover, this is not the first time that the mayor of Pokrovsk has not indicated his assets in the declaration. Previously, the NACP has already appealed to the prosecutor's office regarding violations on his part.
