Polish law enforcement officers have forcibly returned 15 Ukrainian citizens to their homeland due to their numerous violations of the law. According to the border guard service, these individuals have been repeatedly prosecuted for theft, robbery, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
In addition to deportation, all deported individuals are banned from entering Poland for 5–10 years. One of the Ukrainians was added to the list of persons whose stay in the country is considered undesirable.
The decision on forced return was made on the basis of Article 302 of the Polish Law "On Foreigners", which regulates issues of national security and protection of public order.
"Poland is a friendly country open to foreigners. However, there is and will be no tolerance for violations of the law, regardless of their country of origin. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration will respond decisively to cases of violations of our law and order," said the ministry's spokeswoman, Karolina Halecka.
The country's authorities emphasized that such actions are aimed at protecting security and law and order in the country and preventing further offenses.
