An incident occurred in Kryvyi Rih involving a serviceman who came to work with his wife with a bouquet of flowers and a grenade. The incident is reported by local communities and eyewitnesses.
According to preliminary information, the woman works as a saleswoman. When she and her husband went outside, he suddenly pulled out a check and threw a grenade. There was no explosion, as the ammunition turned out to be training ammunition and did not contain explosives.
After that, the man pulled out a knife and began threatening his wife. Witnesses called the police, who promptly arrived at the scene and detained the perpetrator.
Local media reports say the woman refused to press charges against her husband, saying what happened was "just jealousy."
Law enforcement officers continue to verify all the circumstances of the incident. Lawyers emphasize that the victim's refusal to file a statement is not always a reason to close the case, since the use of weapons or ammunition, even training ones, may be classified under articles of the Criminal Code regardless of the position of the injured party.
