In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained five bloggers who, during a live broadcast on social networks, were showing off a gun, using obscene language, and were in a state of intoxication. The incident occurred in a cafe near Kontraktova Square, the capital's police reported.
The offenders, aged between 16 and 27, were discovered during social media monitoring. The video shows one of the participants showing a gun while others actively support him. Viewers of the broadcast heard harsh swearing and observed the company's clearly inappropriate behavior.
The police quickly located the location of the shooting and detained the group. The young men were charged with petty hooliganism (Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and appearing in a public place while intoxicated (Part 1 of Article 178 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). During a search of the apartment of one of the suspects, no firearms were found. However, this streamer had previously posted a photo with an air pistol on social media.
All materials are being prepared for submission to the court. The police emphasized that displaying weapons - even imitation ones - without proper permission, especially in a public space and while intoxicated, is a serious offense.
