Police have told new details of the shooting investigation in Sofiivska Borshchagivka

Law enforcement officers found out the circumstances of the conflict, which led to a double murder in the village of Sofiyivska Borschagivka on May 8. According to the police spokeswoman of the Kyiv region Jan Ermolenko, the shooting occurred after a dispute between a 63-year-old resident and a serviceman who sold him an automatic weapon for a thousand dollars for a month before the tragedy.

“It is known that the conflict arose on the basis of payment. The man who bought the weapon did not fulfill all the conditions, which caused the escalation, ”the police spokeswoman said.

Law enforcement officers also check whether the dead could sell other weapons to outsiders and establish its origin.

It would be separately found whether there was any attitude to the conflict-another dead-the mother-in-law of a serviceman who was in the apartment at the time of the crime.

We will remind, the tragedy happened around 15:22. According to official information, after the shooting, the attacker closed in his own home. The building was surrounded by a special police unit, and the man himself was detained for an hour.

Criminal proceedings are currently opened, investigative actions are ongoing. The detainee is held in procedural order.
