In one of the settlements of the Peschansky Territorial Community in Odesa region there was an explosion - a man in a state of intoxication threw a grenade into the courtyard of his neighbor. The incident was reported by the woman who was in the house with his family at the time of the explosion. Fortunately, no one was injured.
According to police, there were a long conflict between the attacker and the victim. In the evening, the man, bringing the F-1 grenade from the war zone, threw it into the courtyard of the neighbor, and fled. The explosion damaged the wall of the apartment building and knocked out the windows. The police seized the wreckage of ammunition for examination.
The 42-year-old local resident was detained the same evening. He was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism with the use of a subject specially adapted for injury. He faces up to seven years in prison.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. Upon completion of the examination, the investigation may further retrade the offender's actions.
