The police of Ukraine exposed a conspiracy in which the father and the eldest son, while abroad, tried to steal their own relatives to seize cryptocurrency worth $ 500,000. Fortunately, the crime was prevented by the special operation of law enforcement.
The attackers decided to have the abduction of a younger son, who was engaged in cryptocurrencies and had access to a considerable amount. To implement the plan, they found the performer among the residents of Zaporozhye, who promised a generous reward for the work.
According to the plan, the victim had to steal, torture and to make a flash drive with access to a cryptomaman. After receiving the funds, the customers planned to get rid of the crime.
The crime was carried out under the full control of the police. The kidnappers staged the abduction, made bloody photos of the victim and sent them to the customers. Seeing the "evidence", his father called his ex -wife and demanded to give a flash drive to "release his son."
Having convinced of the abduction, the criminals gave the second part of the money to the “performers”. This is the main proof of their guilt.
The question of notifying the attackers about the absentee suspicions under Part 4 of Art. 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (extortion). Documents are also being prepared for the international wanted list.
This story is a prime example of the fact that greed knows no limits, and family relationships sometimes do not save from betrayal. Fortunately, law enforcement officers responded on time and prevented a serious crime.
