Deputy of the Polish party "Confederation" Witold Tumanovych expressed the opinion that the Ukrainian military should not be allowed to enter Poland after the end of the war against Russia. He justified his position by the fact that it could pose a threat to the country's security. This was reported by Do Rzeczy .
Thus, the deputy stated that currently there are two fundamental issues regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war that Poland must pay attention to - not to send any Polish soldiers to Ukraine and to ensure that Ukrainian military personnel do not arrive in Poland.
He stated that people drafted into the army and sent for a long war "will pose a potential threat after it ends" if they are allowed to enter Poland.
"We know very well what is happening to soldiers who are no longer at the front. Unfortunately, they often organize criminal groups, so we cannot allow them to come to Poland," he emphasized.
Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that if the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, implements his threat to stop the supply of electricity to Ukraine, Poland is ready to compensate the difference with its own supplies.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Poland stated that Poland has ruled out the possibility of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine for security guarantees. He noted that his country is developing a solution on this matter just in case, but until the peace process is completed, there are no plans to send troops into Ukraine.
