In 2024, more than 17 thousand Ukrainians declared income of over 1 million hryvnia, which is 63% more than last year. This was reported by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
The total amount of income declared by millionaires reached 253.6 billion hryvnias, and tax liabilities based on the results of the declarations amounted to 8.7 billion hryvnias.
In total, Ukrainians declared 326 billion hryvnias of income last year — 107 billion more than in 2023.
As noted by the head of the State Tax Service, Ruslan Kravchenko, a record amount of tax liabilities was declared by one Kyiv resident - over 4.6 billion hryvnias, including personal income tax and military levy.
The highest incomes were declared by residents of the following regions:

Kyiv — UAH 156 billion

Among the sources of income that citizens most often indicated in their declarations:

The State Tax Service emphasizes that the positive dynamics indicate an increase in voluntary tax discipline among citizens, as well as an increase in revenue transparency even under martial law.
