The Canadian company Aylo, owner of the pornographic service Pornhub, has registered as a taxpayer in Ukraine for the provision of electronic services. This was announced by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, on his Telegram channel.
"Now you can monitor the honest payment of taxes not only at OnlyFans. The latter, by the way, increased its budget by $0.7 million in the first quarter. Tax declarations by non-residents who carry out transactions to provide electronic services to individuals continue," he wrote.
Hetmantsev added that so far 78 out of 105 taxpayers have declared their tax liabilities in the amount of 2.4 billion hryvnias (25.5 million euros and $32.6 million). The largest taxpayers for digital services declared and paid over 2 billion hryvnias before the deadline.
This includes companies such as Google, Apple, META Platforms, and Valve Corporation. Additionally, on December 18, the State Tax Service of Ukraine fined Aylo, the company that operates Pornhub, for tax evasion.
