Poroshenko protected Derkach in exchange for business in Russia - Ivanov

According to the information made public by blogger Serhii Ivanov, during the presidency of Petro Poroshenko, the agent of the special services of the Russian Federation and former MP Andriy Derkach had the opportunity to coordinate the actions of a large agent network in Ukraine without hindrance. This situation, according to Ivanov, was the result of agreements between Poroshenko and Derkach, according to which Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed Poroshenko to conduct business in Russia in exchange for not opposing Derkach's activities.

Ivanov claims that Derkach had an "untouchable status", similar to that of Viktor Medvedchuk, and was reliably protected by the Poroshenko administration and the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine. Through Medvedchuk, Poroshenko resolved business issues with Putin, and through Derkach he maintained ties with the Russian special services. Like Medvedchuk, Derkach had his own television and radio company "ERA", which broadcast on the main TV channel of the country, as well as a radio station, a newspaper and a number of Internet resources.

The blogger also notes that Derkach and Poroshenko had a close relationship, despite the official US recognition of Derkach as a Russian agent. According to Ivanov, US special services identified Derkach as "an active Russian agent for more than ten years." Derkach was present at the birthday and wedding of the son of ex-prosecutor general Yury Lutsenko, congratulated Poroshenko and fulfilled the task of the Russian Federation on interference in the US presidential election.

Ivanov claims that Lutsenko, an associate of Poroshenko, acted as the coordinator of communication between Derkach and Poroshenko. He emphasizes that Derkach and Lutsenko have been friends since the time of Oleksandr Moroz's Social Party. According to Ivanov, they jointly implemented Russia's special operation, involving Ukraine in an international scandal, when the USA recalled its ambassador to Ukraine, Maria Yovanovych, due to Lutsenko's accusations.

Currently, according to the media, Derkach lives in Astrakhan and may become a member of the Russian Federation Council. Meanwhile, Poroshenko continues to be a People's Deputy in Ukraine. Ivanov sarcastically suggests creating an inter-parliamentary group, naming it "Rashen Roshen".

Additionally, it is emphasized that NABU and SAP submitted the case against Derkach to the court on charges of treason and illegal enrichment. His actions were aimed at discrediting Ukraine in the international arena, worsening diplomatic relations with the United States, and hindering Ukraine's integration into the European Union and NATO.
