Former Head of the Department for Urban Planning, Architecture and State Building Control of the Lyubotin City Council Denis Mironenko received a sentence for obtaining illegal benefit and entering false data in official documents.
According to the court, Mironenko was found guilty of Part 2 of Art. 369-2 (abuse) and Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official forgery).
The investigation found that in December 2024, while holding the position of head of the department, Mironenko proposed during a personal meeting with a citizen to assist in the registration of ownership of a dwelling house and a land plot in Lyubotin. He promised to implement the scheme for $ 3700, using his official powers and ties with the state registrar.
During February 2025, the official received a $ 2,700 initially, and then another $ 1000. In exchange, he transferred an excerpt from the State Register of Property Rights, which confirmed the ownership of the house. On February 21, he also introduced false data into an official response, which argued that there was a current order for the assignment of a postal address of the house - although there was no such order.
In court, Denis Mironenko pleaded guilty, repented and actively cooperated with the investigation. The court also took into account the positive characteristics, the lack of previous convictions, the presence of a minor child and the state of health of the accused.
As a result, the court imposed a penalty of 161 500 UAH. Mironenko is also forbidden to hold positions in state authorities and local self -government for one year.
