The Deputy Director of the State Enterprise "Odessa Aviation Plant", which is part of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry", was punished only by a fine and restriction of the right to work through fraud with documentation and use of defective spare parts for the needs of the Armed Forces.
It is about Vitaliy Kudina - Deputy Director for Production. According to the verdict of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa, he instructed the subordinate to enter unreliable data in the protocols of testing of the KSA-3 aviation node, although the units did not meet the technical requirements due to the use of poor quality parts.
On the basis of counterfeit documents, the equipment was transferred to the customer - the central department of providing aviation and air defense of the Armed Forces. In fact, the army could receive a technique that did not pass proper testing.
Such actions have led to unreasonable expenses in the amount of more than 193 thousand hryvnias. These included salaries, fuel, lubricants and business trips.
In the course of the pre -trial investigation, Kudin signed an agreement with the prosecutor of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Southern Region, found guilty, compensated damages and provided additional information to the investigation.
The court took into account his repentance, positive characteristics from the place of work and lack of aggravating circumstances. As a result, Kudin received instead of real punishment:

34 thousand hryvnias of fine and another 8.5 thousand - additionally,

Prohibition to hold management positions at the test station for 1.5 years.
This is another example when even at an enterprise that produces the details of the Armed Forces aviation, officials avoid serious responsibility after the technical documentation.
