Until December 30, students and scholars will not be able to use the Reserve+ application to apply for a deferment from mobilization. This is due to technical work that is necessary to update the system and improve its functionality. Official representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine warned that this period will limit access to some services, in particular for those planning to defer or change their mobilization status.
The Ministry of Defense reported this on Telegram. "Due to technical work in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education, from December 17 to approximately December 30, students, postgraduates and doctoral students will temporarily not be able to apply for an online deferral in the Reserve+ application," the message says.
At the same time, technical work will not affect already received deferrals, the status will be displayed in the application as before. Also, technical work in the education register will not affect the operation of other Reserve+ services.
You will be notified immediately about the early resumption of the service in Reserve+.
Reserve+ application
In November, the Reserve+ application began testing online deferral for certain categories of Ukrainians, including students and postgraduates.
On December 3, the Verkhovna Rada took a step towards automatically accepting 17-year-old citizens for military registration, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced. “The parliament supported in the first reading an important bill, thanks to which citizens of Ukraine will automatically be registered for military registration upon reaching the age of 17,” Umerov said.
