The Air Force of Ukraine falsifies the statistics of arrivals, and the Shaheds are shot down by the Patriots, Bezugla

People's deputy of Ukraine Maryana Bezugla revealed disturbing details about the situation with Ukrainian air defense equipment at her press conference. According to the people's elected official, air defense systems are used with significant technical deficiencies and manipulate statistics when performing tasks.

People's deputy Maryana Bezugla continues to harshly criticize the leadership of the Air Force of Ukraine.

She again stated that they falsify the statistics of arrivals, calling the missiles that hit the targets "debris".

In her opinion, this is done to preserve "faith in the Armed Forces." But people's attitude to mobilization "shows the true trust of the majority in the huge bureaucratized military system."

As an example, she cited the missile attack on Kyiv on June 8, which, in Bezuglai's opinion, showed what is really happening with Ukrainian air defense.

The People's Deputy asks why Russian missiles are shot down on the outskirts of Kyiv, and not outside the city. And why were they unable to intercept several X-101 missiles during the attack on the capital on July 8 - although earlier such missiles, according to the command's reports, were shot down.

According to her, in addition to the falsification of statistics, the calculations of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces are poorly equipped and poorly coordinated among themselves. Sometimes it happens that "Shakhed" is shot down by a Patriot missile, "and a Russian missile destroys an important object of critical infrastructure worth billions."

"Elementary mobile groups and drone calculations are often absent at key infrastructure facilities, and key facilities often do not have air defense at all, and the Russians are well aware of this," she writes.

Bezugla also said that experienced fighters of mobile groups are often sent to the front in the infantry, and in their place are recruited partly suitable veterans without experience, and sometimes with bribes from those who want to sit in the rear.

The situation with repairs of air defense equipment is "terrible".

"Some samples of Western equipment are already all defective. In general, regular work is still not carried out on foreign equipment, no records of engine hours are kept, which makes work planning impossible, most of the contracts for on-site repairs have not been signed, there are no forms for the equipment, and the composition of spare parts has not been determined," writes the People's Deputy.

Repairs are often carried out by unauthorized companies, and the equipment breaks down again in a month or two.

One of the big problems is the inability of military officials to organize even the receipt of Western funds.

"For the past year 2023, only Great Britain did not allocate and finance air defense repairs worth 400 million pounds, because the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not explain how they plan to spend these funds," Bezugla writes.

She also added that "missiles for air defense are delivered by partners in such a dosage and so few of them that, for example, Patriot is forced to switch to manual mode to save them."
