Law enforcement officers check the financial receipts of Brovary mayor

Mayor of Brovary Igor Sapozhko, together with his wife Marina and daughter, Diana was the focus of law enforcement. Their curiosity is caused, to put it mildly, by the poor lifestyle of the family, as well as certain aspects of financial statements and property status.

Law enforcement agencies have started checking the bank accounts of the mayor and his family. All possible financial transactions were of interest: current, card, deposit and credit accounts, as well as transactions conducted without opening accounts. In particular, it is about the remnants of funds, the routes of transfer of money and the source of finance.

In the declaration for 2023 the mayor indicated the presence of two land plots. Particularly attracting a plot of 27 700 m², located in the Kyiv region. The rest of the property is recorded on his wife Marina Sapozhko: these are four land, apartment and residential building. Together, the family has six real estate objects, which raises questions about their origin.

As for transport, the sapozhkiv fleet deserves special attention. Igor Sapozhko himself is the owner of a car estimated at UAH 1,036,000 and rent another car. His wife rides a luxurious SUV worth more than UAH 2 million, which, according to the declaration, belongs to relatives of the mayor.

These details do not exhaust the whole picture. There are many interesting points in the declaration of the mayor of Brovary, which probably have become the basis for verification. Does the family lifestyle correspond to officially declared income? This question remains open and is currently waiting for the answer from law enforcement.

It seems that a luxurious lifestyle and impressive wealth have become a stumbling block for the brewery mayor. Law enforcement officers have just started their way in search of truth, but now this story is attracting attention not only in Brovary, but also far beyond.
