The Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA) reported searches in the building of the institution conducted by law enforcement agencies in the framework of investigation into possible abuse with the communal property of the capital in 2009.
“Today, February 7, searches are undergoing searches in the premises of the Kyiv City State Administration on the basis of the decision of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv of January 28, 2025. Investigative actions are carried out within the framework of pre -trial investigation and concerned the possible abuse of officials related to the alienation of property of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv in 2009, ”the message reads.
The KSCA emphasized that the representatives of the administration "provide all the necessary documents, comprehensively assist law enforcement agencies in carrying out procedural actions and count on objectivity and impartiality of the investigation."
On February 6, NABU reported that a criminal organization involved in land corruption was exposed in the Kyiv City Council. According to NABU, 7 participants of the criminal organization have now been detained.
The searches were already commented by the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko.
“On the resonant situation with searches and public accusations of city authorities. (…) If the facts published in court will immediately be managerial decisions, ”Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
He noted that "the decision on land issues today was made according to the Regulation and supported by representatives of all factions (political forces) of the Kyiv City Council - both when considering the commissions and in the session hall."
