The Chief Commandant of Lviv, Taras Gren, announced innovations regarding the composition of checkpoints in all regions of Ukraine.
According to the decision of the Defense Council, two representatives of the National Police and two representatives of the Territorial Command Centers and the Security Service will now work at checkpoints. The duty will take place at all checkpoints throughout the country, and not just in the Lviv region, as previously reported.
Gren also emphasized that there are currently seven internal checkpoints operating in the Lviv region, where law enforcement officers are taking measures to combat possible saboteurs. The Defense Council's decision will not affect border checkpoints, the number of which in the region is also seven, they will operate with the same staff as before.
This innovation is aimed at ensuring more effective control and ensuring security in the country. Detailed information and details of the implementation of these changes can be found on the regional websites of the Territorial Command Centers. At the same time, officers on duty have the right to check drivers' documents and issue summonses to those who are suitable for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, representatives of the Territorial Command Centers do not have the right to force men to go to military registration and enlistment offices.
