Sergey Sedenko, who claims the post of forestry of the Dychansky forestry of the Branch "Eastern Forest Office", filed a declaration that frankly strikes its scale. The document lists cash savings in dollars, millions of hryvnia assets and real estate in several regions of the country.
His family has land, residential real estate and commercial objects in Chernihiv and Donetsk regions. Some of the objects are decorated on the very Szennko, some of his wife. According to the Declaration, the monetary assets of the spouse reach eight million hryvnias, most of which are kept in cash. At the same time, the official income of the candidate for the last year was just over UAH 170 thousand.
Sedenko also declared the unfinished construction of an apartment building. The wife owns a car purchased last year and carries out business activities, but the exact amount of its profits is not disclosed.
In the last Seadenko, he held the positions of head of forestry enterprises in Sumy and Luhansk regions. His career is related to the state and communal forestry.
The details of the declaration are of interest not only in view of the volume of property and cash, but also in the context of its ambitions to return to the Forests of Ukraine system. The branch he claims has long been raising questions about transparency of appointments and reporting. The situation with Sedenko's candidacy is another reminder why the declaration system remains an important part of public control over civil servants.
