Private clinics in Odessa sold certificates to evade mobilization

In Odessa, a scheme for illegally issuing fake medical certificates for military men who were trying to go abroad was exposed.

According to the investigation, two medical professionals were involved in the illegal activity. This is an official of a private medical center located in the Kyivsky district of Odessa, as well as the head of a private outpatient clinic.

Doctors issued certificates with fictitious diagnoses that allowed men to avoid mobilization and cross the state border. In addition to preparing fictitious medical documentation, they also promised to influence the decisions of authorized persons.

For their "services" in processing documents for two conscripts, the suspects demanded and received 21 thousand US dollars.

Currently, law enforcement officers are identifying the full range of individuals who may have taken advantage of this scheme, and are also investigating the involvement of other medical institutions in illegal activities.
