Mobilization Problems: As the Armed Forces send people with serious illnesses and addiction

Recently, people with serious illnesses, mental disorders and addiction have been sent to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine more often. This not only creates additional loads on the military system, but also jeopardize the efficiency of combat units and uses limited resources.

This was stated by the military of the Armed Forces, a volunteer of the Grimm special unit, political scientist Cyril Sazonov on the morning.Live. “The replenishment that the shopping center sends is sometimes a lot of questions in us. You go to replenishment, you look at whom you are offered. And who will you take there? Well, in fact, someone is a clear addict, someone "Avatar", it should be brought to the bus. Someone is sick and he came here. That is, with a bunch of documents, to go to the hospital with them immediately, and it will be sleeping in six months. Why is he needed here? ” Said Sazonov.

He stressed that the mobilization of such citizens is a great burden on the country's budget. In addition, it is necessary to provide the military in one way or another, even if it is soon sleeping.

“He must be brought, somewhere to settle, to feed all the time, to pay him wages, to provide in shape, armor, machine guns, to spend time, forces, resources, and the clerk fills a lot of papers on it. That is, a bunch of people deals with its maintenance, and he will come here, go to the hospital and will sleep in six months. Either he can not sober up or hopelessly ill. Why do we need? He will not be a fighter, ”the military explained.

The Verkhovna Rada proposes to introduce criminal liability for employees of the Tax Code and the military-medical commissions for violation of the order of conscription of citizens for military service and violation of the procedure for conducting a medical examination. The relevant bill number 12442 has already been submitted to Parliament.

The explanatory note to the bill states that it provides for criminal liability for two categories of officials: heads and members of the military-medical commissions for intentional violation of the procedure for conducting a medical examination (military medical examination); Officials of territorial centers of completion and social support for violation of the order of conscription of citizens for military service.
