The Verkhovna Rada is preparing to make significant changes to the Tax Code, which provide for the mandatory identification of all sellers on online platforms. The corresponding bill No. 13232 has already been registered in parliament. This was stated by MP Nina Yuzhanina in a comment for UNN.
According to her, innovations should eliminate contradictions in relations between tax authorities, platforms and sellers, as well as prevent tax evasion through anonymous trade.
“Currently, many sites, including OLX, are only enough to specify the name, phone number and the price of the product. After approving the platform changes, they will be obliged to collect full personal information of sellers: name, date of birth, address, registration number of the taxpayer's account card, as well as a confirmed bank card, ”the deputy said.
Such changes, notes Yuzhanina, related to the implementation of the EU Directive on the automatic exchange of tax information between tax authorities and e -commerce platforms.
Bank card verification is also envisaged through appropriate financial institutions.
The Verkhovna Rada explains that the tax often loses the taxes of taxes on online sets through an imperfect identification system. The new norm should eliminate such gaps.
