What is a magnetic storm and what is it dangerous
A magnetic storm is a reaction of the earth's magnetic field to the flow of charged particles coming from the sun. Such fluctuations can influence not only equipment (communication, satellites, GPS), but also on human health - especially sensitive to changes in weather.
Common symptoms include headache, high pressure, nausea, insomnia, general fatigue and irritability. The most vulnerable are the elderly, pregnant women, children and patients with chronic diseases.
How to ease the condition during magnetic storms
Doctors recommend that these days take care of the day mode, avoid fatigue and stress, and pay attention to nutrition and sleep:
-
Sleep at least 7-9 hours and lie down until 23:00
-
Drink enough water
-
avoid coffee, alcohol, fatty and salty foods
-
More walk in the open air
-
ventilate housing and reduce screen time in the evening
-
people with chronic illnesses - to monitor the condition and not to neglect medicines
In the case of serious deterioration of health, it is best to consult a doctor, because even weak magnetic storms can become a trigger for exacerbation.
