Today the weather in Ukraine will be unstable. Although the air temperature will remain comfortable, most regions will be influenced by atmospheric fronts that will bring precipitation and gusts of wind.
This is reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological center.
Meteorologists forecasts, at night precipitation will cover almost the entire territory of the country. The most intense showers are expected in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia, where heavy rains are possible. In the daytime, rains will cease in the majority of the territory, but local precipitation is still possible in the northern regions.
The temperature background will remain quite high. At night, the temperature will fluctuate within +4… +9 degrees, and in the daytime the air will warm up to +14… +19 degrees. It will be cooler only on the Black and Azov seas - +9… +14 degrees are expected there.
In the Carpathian region, night indicators will reach +1… +6 degrees, and in the daytime the air will warm up to +13 degrees.
Strong wind and danger of avalanche
Forecasters warn of wind increases. Its speed will be 7 - 12 meters per second, and in the Carpathians, as well as in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions, gusts up to 15 - 20 meters per second are possible.
In addition, there will be a significant snow-danger in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region and in the east of Transcarpathia (level 3). Travelers and tourists are advised to refrain from entering the mountains.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
In the capital and in the Kyiv region, cloudy weather is predicted with clearings. Moderate rain is expected at night, low rainfall is possible in the afternoon.
In Kiev, the air temperature will be +7… +9 degrees, and in the daytime it will rise to +15… +17 degrees.
In the Kiev region, the night temperature is forecast at +4… +9 degrees, in the daytime - +14… +19 degrees.
The wind in the region will be southwestern, 7-12 meters per second, in the afternoon of gusts up to 15-20 meters per second.
