On Thursday, February 27, a significant temperature contrast is forecast in Ukraine. If the air warms up to +11°C in the west of the country, then a slight frost of -6°C is possible in the east. This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
According to the forecast, it will be warmest in the western regions, where the thermometer will rise to +11°C during the day. In the center and north of Ukraine, up to +5°C is expected. In contrast, in the eastern regions, the temperature will remain low - in places up to -6°C during the day.
However, there will still be severe frosts at night. The coldest temperatures will be in the east of the country – down to -15°C. In the west, the night temperature will drop to -6°C.
The weather forecaster noted that precipitation in Ukraine is unlikely on February 27, only in the west may cloudiness increase due to the approach of moist air masses from the Atlantic.
"Precipitation on February 27 in Ukraine is unlikely, unless clouds move in to the western part - the Atlantic will gradually start to drive more humid air towards us," Didenko explained.
Weather in Kyiv
It will be dry in the capital tomorrow. The temperature will drop to -7°C at night, and warm up to +4°C during the day.
A change in the weather is expected in Ukraine from the end of the week: a moist air mass will begin to arrive in the country. Rain, wind, and wet snow are expected in most regions on February 28, as well as on March 1 and 2.
Ukrainians should prepare for a wetter and more unstable weather period, which may be accompanied by icy conditions and difficult road conditions.
Recall that spring in Ukraine will begin with warming, but winter will not yet give way completely, and on March 1, some regions of the country will welcome the beginning of spring with wet snow, rain, and night frosts down to -15°C.
