As part of the implementation of the second stage of the "Renewal" program in the Kyiv region, 2,200 applications were received, the head of the Kyiv regional government, Ruslan Kravchenko, said during the telethon "Edyny Novyny". Answering questions about resources for compensation, he noted that small damages that do not require significant financial resources are covered by the authorities from regional or local budgets.
Kravchenko indicated that there is a regional program for the full restoration of private houses destroyed by the Russian military. Also, the government's program "yesRecovery" is already in place, which has already gained momentum. During the second stage of this program, 2,200 applications were submitted, and more than 500 people have already been issued housing certificates.
The head of the regional government also disclosed other initiatives. For example, the United24 program was introduced for the reconstruction of multi-apartment buildings. The government also allocates funds through the Fund for Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation. For 2023, compensation in the amount of over 900 million hryvnias for housing repairs has been approved in Kyiv region.
