The prosecutor prepares an appeal for the Expert of the Brovar Regional State Administration

On January 27, 2025, the Brovarsky City District Court approved an agreement on reconciliation between the exchanges of the Brovarsk Regional State Administration Volodymyr Maybozhenko and the victims in the case of pedestrians. The accused, who in April 2024, while intoxicated, knocked four pedestrians, including a minor child, will pay a fine of 34 thousand UAH and will be lost for three years to drive vehicles.

The prosecutor of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office did not first agree with the conclusion of the agreement, considering it inappropriate interests of society and the requirements of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. However, the court did not support this position, refusing the study of materials that indicate a lack of a mitigating circumstance for the accused.

In this regard, an appeal is being prepared for the sentence.
