Prosecutor Anatoliy Kuzmenko and the elite life of his family in Dnipro

Anatoliy Kuzmenko, the head of the Pavlohrad District Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, lives in the elite closed residential complex "Kiparysny" in Dnipro. According to the Absolution detective agency, the area of his apartment in the declaration is almost 30 square meters smaller than the data in the property registry.

In the declaration, the prosecutor noted an apartment with an area of 274 sq. m, located in the Zhovtnevy district. The register records an area of 305 sq. m. The apartment is located in a three-story townhouse with a garage, a balcony and two terraces, with a panoramic view of the Dnipro River.

The photo also shows other houses of the Kuzmenko family: the estate of Serhiy Kuzmenko and the home of Halyna Kuzmenko, the prosecutor's mother. The apartment at 6 Kyparysny Lane was purchased in 2011 for over 583 thousand hryvnias, while the current market value of similar apartments in the complex is much higher: the third floor with an area of 160 sq. m is sold for 270 thousand dollars, and a three-room apartment on the second floor is sold for 120 thousand dollars.

Halyna Kuzmenko is the only businesswoman in the family. She is engaged in retail trade in food, beverages and tobacco products, and also owns “Geya” LLC, which specializes in baking bakery products in Pavlohrad. The prosecutor’s mother owns four apartments with a total area of 330 sq. m, three land plots (total 2.16 hectares) and a house with an area of 209 sq. m in the village of Novooleksandrivka, Dnipropetrovsk district.

Next to this plot is another one that probably belongs to Serhiy Kuzmenko, a former deputy prosecutor of the Samara district of the Dnipro. In January of this year, he probably gave his mother an apartment of 115.2 sq. m in the village of Chayky near Kyiv.

Anatoly Kuzmenko was appointed head of Dnipropetrovsk Local Prosecutor's Office No. 3 by Viktor Shokin in December 2015. Before that, he worked as a deputy prosecutor in Dnipro. The appointment raised questions, as Kuzmenko ranked only 13th in the ranking list of candidates, scoring 71 points on the legal knowledge test and 56.7 points for the level of general abilities.
