The head of the Holovaniv District Prosecutor's Office (Kirovohrad region), Maksymilian Leonidovich Horshchak, purchased an apartment in an elite residential complex near Kyiv for 524 thousand hryvnias, which is equivalent to 12 thousand dollars at the current exchange rate.
This became known from the Declaration of Prosecutor Maksymilian Horshchak, posted on the NACP website.
According to the data specified in Gorshchak's Declaration, an apartment with an area of 82.2 m² was purchased in the residential complex "Novi Teremky", in the village of Novosilky, Fastiv district, Kyiv region, for only 525 thousand hryvnias. The seller was LLC "Novi Teremky Residential Complex".
According to the developer, the residential complex “Novi Teremky” is located in an ecologically clean area with apple orchards nearby, 10 minutes from Kyiv, convenient transport connections (near the Kyiv-Odesa highway) and infrastructure: shopping mall “Magellan”, park “Feofaniya”. This is a popular project from the company Novbud (or related to Rubicon Holding), where the emphasis is on autonomous heating, panoramic windows and low noise levels.
The market value of similar apartments in the residential complex starts from 39 thousand UAH/m², that is, for the amount indicated in the Declaration, prosecutor Maksymilian Horshchak could buy approximately 13 m², while the square footage of a one-room apartment in this residential complex starts from 41 m².
At the same time, an apartment with an area of 82.2 m² in this residential complex can cost about 3 million hryvnias. Therefore, it is likely that the head of the Holovaniv District Prosecutor's Office, Maksymilian Leonidovich Horshchak, intentionally underestimated the value of the declared property, which should become the subject of the NACP's study.
