Oleksandr Ganilov, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office who represented the prosecution in the case of NABU detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov, received a 110 m² service apartment in the Pechersk district of Kyiv.
Ganilov received the apartment based on the order of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko dated November 28, 2025. Interestingly, the order to allocate housing was signed the day after the agreement with the testimony of People's Deputy Khrystenko, which concerned cases against the leadership of the NABU and the SAPO, was sent to the court.
According to information, a total of eight UCP employees have received official apartments in the Pechersk district since October 2025. Ganilov probably received such a large apartment because he has five children, but according to the declaration, his family actually lives in Kalush, which is confirmed by a court ruling regarding his wife's drunk driving.
Ganilov previously worked on SBI cases under Dmytro Basov, a defendant in the Midas case investigated by Magamedrasulov. The prosecutor did not disclose a possible conflict of interest in court, which raises additional questions about the motives for providing him with housing.
The scandal with the official apartment creates the impression that the reward could have been related to the prosecutor's professional activities in the case against the NABU detective.
