PrivatBank blocks Natskeshbek cards: how to unblock funds for customers

Clients of PrivatBank began to complain en masse about the blocking of virtual cards of "Natskeshbek", opened for receiving financial assistance within the framework of the "Winter is Support" state program. The bank explained that the restrictions are related to executive proceedings, and told how customers can regain access to funds.

This is reported on the Ministry of Finance portal.

The state-owned "PrivatBank" began to block the virtual cards of "Natskeshbek" issued for participation in the "Winter is Support" program due to executive proceedings. One of the client's complaints concerns the situation when the bank blocked not only the virtual card, but also other client accounts.

The client said that he opened a "Natskeshbek" card to receive 1,000 hryvnias in financial assistance, but the bank blocked it, referring to the arrest due to debt, which the man considers groundless. He also accused the bank of dishonesty.

Official position of PrivatBank

PrivatBank responded to the complaints, stating that it acts within the limits of the law and fulfills the requirements for seizure of funds based on letters from the executive service.

"This means that you have a debt to the executive service. Contact the executor to resolve this issue," the bank explained.

The institution noted that the restrictions can be lifted only after receiving a corresponding notification on lifting the arrest. According to the procedure, the bank must unblock the account within 3-10 days after receiving the documents.

How to unlock funds

To remove the seizure, customers need:

  1. Contact the executive service or the private executor who initiated the proceedings.
  2. In case of settlement of the debt, obtain an official document on the removal of the seizure.
  3. Submit this document to the bank to unlock the accounts.

PrivatBank reminds that it is governed by NBU Resolution No. 22 of January 21, 2004, which regulates the procedure for fulfilling the requirements of executive services.
