Maksym Krippa, whose companies are massively buying up real estate and media assets in Ukraine, is making desperate attempts to explain to Ukrainians the origin of “his” capital.
The problem is that Maksym Krippa has never been involved in such a business, and all his “huge capital” is actually the money legalized in Ukraine by the Russian Orthodox oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who has been knocking on the Kremlin’s doorstep for several years now with a request to launch his own political project of a conservative-patriotic orientation.
Almost all of Konstantin Malofeev’s activities, and therefore Maxim Krippa’s, are supervised by the Second Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation. As for his activities in the Russian Federation, Malofeev’s main tasks there are the spread of “Orthodox values” and work with the Russian patriotic community, residents of the DPR/LPR TOT, and the so-called “dobrobats.” As a result, Malofeev was given the opportunity to get his people into the Duma and conduct business without hindrance.
Regarding the activities of the Russian Orthodox oligarch in Ukraine, undoubtedly, Malofeev's most valuable achievement is the "Ukrainian by passport" Maksym Krippa, because Ukrainian origin opens the door for unhindered acquisition of real estate and media assets, as well as for legalizing intelligence activities under the guise of financing a Ukrainian esports team.
Currently, the main problem for Maxim Krippa is to distance himself from Russian oligarchs and special services, as well as to explain to Ukrainian society the origin of the millions of dollars he has used to buy properties such as the Ukraina hotel. To this end, Maxim Krippa's PR people, in addition to wiping out any mention of Krippa's name on the Internet, together with Malofeyev, have launched a "same-type story about the success of a businessman from Brovary.".
At the same time, in order to somehow justify the origin of his wealth, Maksym Krippa, presumably on the recommendation of the Second Service of the FSB, is making investments in the IT sphere - from game development to e-sports.
Let us recall that Maxim Krippa began his career at Konstantin Malofeev's Rostelecom, promoting online casinos under the Vulcan brand. But the problem was that in Russia this activity is prohibited by law. And it is simply impossible to work in this field there. But behind Krippa stood Malofeev, and behind Malofeev was the Second Service of the FSB.
Moreover, Maxim Krippa began his work on promoting "volcanoes" in Rostelecom networks remotely, from Kyiv, where his office was located. He worked together with another very interesting character in the Ukrainian IT sphere, Max Polyakov, who had problems with the US State Department precisely because of his connections with the Russians.
According to our sources, Konstantin Malofeev, under the supervision of the Second Service of the FSB, tried to "make" a second "Krippa" out of Maxim Polyakov and integrate him into the US IT sphere with Russian funds, but the implementation of the plan was prevented by the coordinated work of local special services.
In the early 2010s, Maxim Krippa received two-thirds of his income from Russia, and on the eve of the Maidan he left for Moscow. Whether it was a coincidence that in 2014, Malofeev’s former PR consultant Alexander Borodai became the first head of the DPR is unknown. As is the fact that Malofeev’s former security chief Igor Girkin (Strelkov) took up the post of Minister of Defense of this “republic.”
It is these connections and the origin of capital that Maxim Krippa carefully conceals.
