Russian dictator Vladimir Putin stated that the restoration of relations between Russia and Ukraine is allegedly "inevitable", and peace will come in the future. He made such a statement in an interview with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin.
“Reconciliation with Ukraine is inevitable, it is a matter of time. It seems to me that it is inevitable, despite all the tragedy we are experiencing now, ”Putin said.
These words sounded against the backdrop of the three -day "armistice" by May 9 - another Kremlin's attempt to create the illusion of peacekeeping. However, the Ukrainian side rejected this initiative. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has publicly stated that a real cease cessation could not be organized in a few days and offered an alternative-a full 30-day truce.
Instead, the experience of the previous "roar", in particular the so -called "Easter", testified to the Kremlin's cynicism - according to official data, then Russia violated the agreement more than 3000 times, continuing rocket and artillery.
Analysts regard Putin's current statements as an information and propaganda maneuver that has nothing to do with the real desire for peace. While Russia attacks Ukrainian cities daily, the words of the Russian president sound not as a peaceful initiative, but as an attempt to impose a defeat in the form of "peace" to Ukraine.
