A drunken driver offered Vinnytsia police 15 thousand hryvnias of bribe

In Vinnytsia region, inspectors stopped the 43-year-old Opel Astra driver, who violated traffic rules. During communication, police noticed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication. According to the police press service, the results of the inspection showed 1.6 ppm of alcohol in the blood - this is 8 times higher than the allowable norm.

During the registration of administrative materials, the man tried to avoid responsibility and offered the inspectors 15 thousand hryvnias of bribe. Police were summoned by an investigative-operative group that documented the offense.

The violator car was removed and placed on the arresting ground. The driver threatens up to 4 years of imprisonment for the proposal of undue benefit to the employee (Article 369 of the Criminal Code).

The pre -trial investigation is currently underway.
