In the Sumy region, as a result of a Russian rocket strike on the shooting, six Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and ten more were injured. This was reported by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The tragedy occurred on May 20 during the training at the landfill of one of the military units. An investigation has already been started at the scene. The commander of the part is removed from the duties.
The National Police added that the investigation would provide a legal assessment of the actions of all officials who made appropriate decisions on the organization of measures on the day of impact.
This is not the first case of hitting the training sites. In early March, the commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Mikhail Drapaty reported a Russian rocket strike on a landfill, which killed more than 20 servicemen. At that time, the head of the unit training center and the unit commander was then removed.
This time the situation was repeated - and again with numerous victims among personnel. Society increases the requirements for careful investigation and personal responsibility of the security command at such objects.
