The famous Ukrainian rapper Oleksiy Potapenko, better known under the pseudonym Potap, announced his decision to return to Ukraine after almost three years of living abroad. However, this announcement raised a lot of questions in society, because the return took place against the background of rumors about the artist's financial difficulties.
This was reported by Ukrainian blogger Bohdan Bespalov on his YouTube channel, citing his own sources.
According to Bespalov, Potap is actively looking for new sources of income to finance his return and organization of life in Ukraine. In particular, he turned to Anna Butkevich, the daughter of the founder of a popular supermarket chain, with an offer of cooperation. The rapper offered to write several songs for her, develop a repertoire and promote her work.
Bespalov noted that Potap expects that this project will help him earn the necessary funds to implement his plans.
In addition to financial issues, Potap is actively working on the creation of a new team that will help him "whiten" the reputation tarnished by his long absence and passive stance on the war.
According to the blogger, the rapper is already planning to organize a large-scale concert in Ukraine, hoping that he will be warmly received by Ukrainian fans.
It will be recalled that Potap left Ukraine in 2022, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. During this time, he lived in different countries, in particular in Europe, America and Africa. Despite regularly updating social networks, the artist rarely commented on the war and its consequences.
Previously, Potap was one of the main figures of the Mozgi music label, which now operates under a new name - Pomitni. The rapper left the label, but is now trying to find a new creative direction and regain his place in Ukrainian show business.
